Lamecock series momentum

There is a thread on Finebaum G Forum (fgf) concerning the lamecocks beginning to finally get momentum against Clemson in the series. One such poster added: "...momentum is looks like it's finally starting to swing back in our favor from a macro perspective. Let's see if we can capitalize on that in this series these next few years."
I for one am not overly concerned. I think I have heard this before................30-0!!!!

They’ve never had serious momentum with the exception

P.Finebum may not realize the intelligence of his comment.

Momentum can be in either downward direction or in an upward direction.

0 - 30 in their last meaningful game indicates that the U of S.Carolina ShaneCock football team is in a downward "momentum" spiral.

You have to look at the larger picture... 30-0 was an improvement over the previous 38-3. That shows momentum. If the trend holds, the ##### will only lose by 25 next year.

Fail to see where they feel they are picking up momentum? I must be clueless. Are we talking because of Rattler? Recruiting classes are average when looking at stars per recruit. Lots of 3 stars in that mix. I guess some just need something to talk about.

They went 4-8 followed by 2-9 prior to Beamer. 7-6 is pretty miraculous for them. A five game swing is significant. I would feel optimistic if I were them.

If I'm being honest, they are going to be better next year. And they definitely appear to be headed in the right direction under Beamer. They are a team that can make significant strides in their overall talent utilizing the transfer portal. In fact, they already have. Rattler is a major upgrade at QB and Stogner coupled with Jaheim Bell is a really good TE duo. They return a lot of production on their defensive line and have several NFL dudes at that position. Their back seven is still pretty weak. But, they will be one of our top 3 toughest opponents next year.

However, it obviously won't matter if we stay healthy.
