are going with right now.

What does that mean exactly? Does that mean TE is calling good plays, but someone (of the 11 on the play) is not executing the play correctly (or well)?

I guess a bad throw can be considered lack of execution? Missing a block is lack of execution?

It means the coaches didn’t coach the players well enough on how to execute the plays.

apparently our play designs are so sophisticated it takes PERFECT execution from EVERYONE. Otherwise the play blows up and we rank near the bottom of the country in offense. As long as TE can nitpick an item on a play it wasnt his fault.

According to Elliott today, we run the same plays everyone else runs.

Even North Carolina!

Yet for some reason, our 4 and 5 star players can’t seem to figure them out, even against lackluster defenses.

It is supposed to make you think we just need to concentrate a little harder. But it probably means guys are asked to execute things they are just unable to execute. The OL can’t block. That can be described as poor execution or a crappy OL. Take your pick. In the past we executed by having the QB run 20 yds when everybody else screwed up. Or we executed by making strings of circus catches on 50/50 balls. Or we caught the ball for a 2yd gain broke two tackles and went 50 yds. That’s how we always executed the brilliant scheme. But we don’t have the guys to do that.
