not have been great, but they sure did a helluva job with pass protection! Trevor barely got his uniform dirty! And even the run blocking was better then we would expect against Bama!

I thought the first 3rd and long we had would tell the story of the night. TL had zero pressure on him and hit Higgins deep. When that happened, I knew the OL was dialed in and took it personal to protect their freshman QB. TLs uniform would have been spotless if he hadn’t run.

2 things about our run blocking:

1) I'm not sure that anybody in college can block Q. Williams.

2) Our stats don't show great run numbers because our coaches realized Bama couldn't cover us and we basically just threw it whenever we wanted to after the third drive of the game.

Its amazing there were no sacks given how good Bama's Dline was.
