Krazy base running by the Sooners

1st out at 3rd base and out 3 at 3rd after man tagged out sliding in but ball popped out of the glove & hit 3rd base coach- runner thought he was out & started to go to the dugout & was tagged out for real

the runner- the advantage was to the defense so I don’t think so

Just curious but why have a coach's box if they aren't required to stay there while the ball is live...

so if he does happen to interfere with a fielder like on a foul pop up and is out of the box, the batter would be called out- I do know they can’t touch a runner going around 3td to push him in the right direction or to help him stop

Coach has to vacate on a foul ball.

If he gets in a fielder's way it's a dead ball and the batter is out.

On a hit ball, yes.

On a thrown ball, no.

Coach's box is a suggestion. They don't have to stay in it.
