Does anyone know if Khalil has ever returned to Clemson for any sort of recognition or made an appearance? I know he is somewhat of a recluse these days but I feel like he would get a massive ovation and outpouring of gratitude.

I was born in 94' and as a kid I looked up to him because of the type of player he was. I was naive at the time and did not realize how much of a "once in a lifetime" talent he was. Once he moved on to the majors I would track his stats everyday in the newspaper to see how he was doing. He was my baseball idol as a kid.

Anyways, I was just curious if anyone knows much about him now or if he would ever be interested in coming back to make an appearance. I know a lot of Tigers that would like to be there for that.

He lives in Greer but I believe he is pretty reclusive. Don’t think you’ll see him throwing out a first pitch.
