Kornblut suggesting that Hurts is the better passer.
Plus, we are actually throwing the ball every game. Hurts averages 11 - 19 for 156 yds/game while KB averages 18 - 27 for 197 yards per game.
The level of competition is much less for Alabama as well.
I don't see it.

That Jack Bentley is better than both of them!!!! Put together, with one arm tied behind his back. If we aren't better than his team, and we beat the Tide, then his team is better than both of us. Just ask him. Or, ask his pappy!

Side note.. heard this wknd he broke Bamas all time TD leader mark.. halfway through his soph year. Shocking if that is accurate.

Maybe all time rushing TDs for a QB. AJ McCarron had 77 passing TDs to Hurts' 33.

to best Bama. Bama is susceptible to the pass. IMHO a weak-sauce one-dimensional QB run offense will not cut the mustard against Bama which is a different animal than NCSU and Va Tech or even Syracuse. I can see a scenrio where Clemson beats about every team - not feeling it against Bama with no passing game.
