Keep defending Lee and Brownell

You pumpers are blind and stupid.
What bothers me more then anything is the same excuses over and over... we're young... he needs better facilities. Stop it.
Lee has no clue... Brownell has been a COMPLETE failure.
Prove me wrong... facts are facts.

Agree with everything you say. No reason we are not competitive in baseball with the talent we have except coaching. I don't follow basketball at all because I can't stand that sport, however, I suspect you are right there as well.. Preach on . Some of us are listening.

We are young it’s covid etc the excuses. I’m at all games and it’s energry. Monte just sits and waits. I’d love to see a turn around but brownell , monte and Bowden are decent but not great. They can’t take the next step. These players don’t wanna be here anymore.

Brad won enough games the Sweet 16 season and last year to have cushion for one year and pretty much every coaching staff was going to get a mulligan for the 2020 - 2021 season. I am sure there were some exceptions but we are talking rule and not apples versus oranges. The transfers are a problem all over the place, no one can take pre portal time and compare them to now, until something changes about the portal situation as a whole.

For Lee I believe missing the season last year may have been huge for him. Maybe because I am not sure where the manufactured runs were going to come from but I am sure pitching was going to be nasty enough to give us the opportunity to find out. I really was looking forward to seeing Stider dominate and Spiers was beyond clutch, locking everything down as our closer. It has seemed to feast and famine over the years. We have hitting but pitching would be shaky and then flip flop the following year where the pitching is there but the hits have dried up. One thing is for certain - Monte has needed to work on more offense than the long ball, all along.

JK, on this we can agree. While I'm not in awe of the job BB has done, he has also done some good things and at least seems to he trending into the decent/good range from what was a historical bottom feeder most years within the ACC. Monte on the other hand took one of the better programs in the conference and an annual CWS team to a LOSING record, trending worse EVERY season. So no, they are not remotely close in my opinion. I said before the NCAA Tournament Brownell had earned another season or two off of this year. While I hate how the last two games of the season went I think there may be more that the average CU fan (translation: Disinterested) might be missing. Monte has had good support day one and IMO Seth Beer and others covered up his shortcomings. Any wonder that since Beer took his last at bat we have kinda sucked???

As far as men's sports bseball and tennis are the only two legitimate gripes. Tennis is getting the much needed needed facility upgrade. Baseball might lose multiple incoming freshman to the first round of the MLB Draft.
Seems like he has been active in women's sports. Seen movement in areas needed. I guess he had nothing to do with not only bringing in softball but completely knocking that one out the park.
