Many don’t remember but Tony Elliiot and Brandon Streeter said the in KB did not win the starting QB job that they create plays to get him on his he field someway because he is to good of an athlete to not be put on the field.
Now this was said before spring practice last year.

Agree with allorange. As for the other poster that Dabo’s never mentioned it, I’m sure the coaches have talked about it as they have about things that haven’t been mentioned on tnet.

I would hope that he covers it all, and I'm so glad that he don't pay any attention to a word that us T-Netters have to say. With all we have said here on T-Net, it hasn't fixed a thing for our program this far, and I don't expect us to fix anything now. Dabo Swinney has done an amazing job since becoming the HC over Clemson FB. I have my opinions and my choices of who I would like to see playing but, I have 100% faith in Dabo doing the right thing with the way he looks at everything concerning our FB program!!! Also, if he ever pays any attention to what I say, I would expect payment

Scott Frost played quarterback for Nebraska yet was drafted to play safety in the NFL. I'm sure KB can get to the NFL similarly. Let the coaches work it out.

If Trevor doesn’t takeover within the first couple games I’m going to start worrying that he’s not all he was cracked up to be. We cannot win the national championship with Bryant at the helm. I’m sorry but that’s the truth. Without a downfield passing game we will not beat an Alabama defense.

You're really going off the deep end their little bit aren't you? Although KB's ceiling may not be much higher, it's possible he will improve in some areas this year. If he struggles at some point I'm sure HJ will have improved enough to come in and rescue us if need be. And don't forget if out receivers play better this coming season it will help KB.

After watching what he did against Alabama I just don't see how you go with him with two gunslingers sitting on the bench. I don't see him improving that much between his 4th and 5th seasons in the program. I've loved watching the kid play and we would probably win the ACC and make the playoffs again with him under center but we ain't getting past Saban.

If KB hasn't improve significantly from this past season by mid schedule then I imagine someone else will be our starter anyway. I base that on expecting HJ to be able to out perform KB by then. If not, then certainly before the ACC Championship game and the CFP. I wouldn't worry myself. As a worst case scenario, IF we are in danger of losing a game at ANY point in the season due to under performance on KB's part another roster QB will see the field quicker than last year imo.

I'll never say never but we won't get past Saban on the heels of KB. It will have to be on defensive play of the century. We could beat them 6-3 and I wouldn't care as long as we beat them. Don't expect KB to beat an elite well coached defense like Bama or UGA tho

The logical solution is to play two QBs at the same time. Have them spread out and hike the ball at a forty five degree angle depending on who you want to have the ball. I've thought this through and is the best idea hands down.

As crazy as this sounds I could see them having a wrinkle in with this formation because of the fact KB runs the ball so well the problem would be if you are going to pass it then I hope he is a qb that can also block. I doubt he has been asked to block someone in his career.

It will be interesting to watch. It will all depend on how TL and HJ perform in the Spring. I don't see KB's passing skill set improving - unless he found a way to improve arm strength and passing technique in the off season.

I think he could play Safety if he started now.
If he competes for QB until after fall camp then he would not have time.
Personally, I think he starts at QB and battles for the position all season long.

You mean a 12 win playoff starter won't have a chance against a true freshman, on Dabo's team? Keep on dreaming. At most it will be a fight and hopefully not a locker room wrecking one.
More likely KB will be regular until something screws up, and rightly so. TL may be spectacular, but knows no CU playbook and has had no reps.
