Love everything about this guy! Explosive, Strong, and shows a lot of leadership. One thing I’m curious about is if he’s going to transition to DE in college being 6’2. His high school tape definitely shows he can play DE with ease at the next level but he might be have a higher ceiling at an OLB role like a Trenton Simpson who has the size to come off the edge and drop into coverage. In the end I’m a huge fan of Jeremiah and hope we can end up landing him in the future! Go Tigers!
We can use him as a pass rusher on 3rd down like Alabama does on occasion. I remember a #32 that would come in on 3rd down in 2015 & 16 for them & nearly took Deshaun's good knee out from the back side one time.
Sure 6’2 isn’t optimal but Vic Beasley wasn’t but 6’3 and that worked out fantastic. An outlier but Aaron Donald is short by NFL standards and quite probably the best DT ever. Jerimiah is very well built quick off the edge and a multi positional type due to it in our defense he would more than likely fill a DE role and thrive with an option of LB at times and the situation given his speed is adequate.
