their network deals with the SEC and Texas. It's so bad, they have literally been laying off employees by the hundreds. On top of that, their deal with Texas nearly destroyed an entire conference, the BIG XII, 10 years ago. The solution to their financial problems, per ESPN, is to mix all of the prior mistakes together into one big mistake and hope the teams and conferences involved just look at the $$$ and nothing else. And it worked!

It would be far wiser for ESPN to employ the football players directly, then they can cut out all of the middlemen like the universities and boosters. To me, this makes the most financial sense.

That is not their only reasons for poor financial management. Their strong political views that they allowed to be broadcasted by their weak moderators were as much a part of their downfall as anything. Their viewership dropped dramatically. Letting go of Maria Taylor instead of the white broadcaster was a sign that they have screwed up big time in the overall scheme of things. A year ago, whitey would have been tarred and feathered. Good riddance ESPN when it happens.

Going insanely walk has not helped them either! Despite there being a pandemic last year and people being at home ratings were down for ESPN as well as the NBA and the NFL and any other sports where the athletes were being stupid. And yes they’re stupid and they’re brainwashed because there is no systemic racism and black people have it better in America than anywhere else in the world. It does it mean we are perfect. It doesn’t mean more can’t be done. But the overwhelming majority of the problems in the black community or problems in the black community. Starting with nearly 75% of black kids being born to single mothers. and there are plenty of progressives including black academic progressives saying this exact same thing! Don lemon even said this before Trump got elected.

is one of the biggest blunders ESPN has ever made.
UT must have spiked their drink for them to believe UT's brand was national and anyone outside of Texas gave a care.
I can tell you right now that even inside of Texas there are a boatload of people that either don't care about UT football or want them to fail.
I'd like to know how many people actually watch the two year-old women's volleyball reruns. Or the 55th rerun of the 2008 Red River Shootout.
Wonder how many people are holding their breath for UT vs. Rice in September?
It's so ridiculous.
