I would not be surprised. especially how many guards they are involved with in the portal. He is getting a lot of grief over the bad defense at the end of the Va Tech game, and maybe wants to be closer to home too since he is from NJ. I said during season that would not be surprised if both Honor and Dawes transfer.

I have not watched a lot because of frustration mostly but did watch that game and I still cannot figure out what the defensive strategy was on that play.

Hoping that Honor reverses his transfer intent. He can handle the ball and passes well to others on the team. Dawes scores in spurts but is inconsistent and a liability at defensive end, according to the folks that seem to know. He certainly was wounded in the ACC tournament by the game winner from VT.
What is the story with Beadle, who redshirted this past season?
And if we are active with guards in the portal, when will 1 or 2 be announced? Brownell's job depends on them getting contributing player[s] that takes care of the ball.
The 3 commits we have now best be able to step in and play ACC ball.

Don’t worry. The Brad Brownell Bros insisted we were a better team after last year’s transfers. No reason we won’t show the same degree of improvement this coming year.
