He's hearing conflicting things on Deshaun. Was told my someone he would be out a few weeks and then was told by someone else he would play. What's the deal?

I sure hope he isn't out for weeks. Having said that, I'd rather Watson be 100% for the playoffs rather than playing through an injury.
If he does need to sit, then we really really really need to get Bryant meaningful snaps. Let Nick build a little bit of a lead, then turn Bryant loose. Morph the offense to more of a run first spread like Ohio State and Auburn. I bet he crushes it.

I think whistling past the graveyard is what a lot of Coots are doing right now when talking about their improvements in football and knowing that big brother is looming .

Yeah I read that too. As much as I love Dabo I take everything he says about injuries with a grain of salt. I don't think at all he is ever lying or misleading,history shows though that he is overly optimistic when it comes to injuries

On Saturday at the game Deshaun was one of the last guys to come out of the locker room after halftime but he immediately went and got a ball and started throwing a little like he was warming up. Just need to jump on Pitt early and then take him out so he can rest up for the stretch run

I know freak injuries happen but if you look at the play it's hard to imagine it's more than a bruise. His arm was not in an awkward position.
That said, deep bruises can be slow to heal so I wouldn't mind seeing Nick start. I think he can get it done.
