Disclaimer: Info coming from a friend of mine who is a coach at Summerville high and good friends with Leprad(Fort D head coach)
Apparently Caldwell has backed off in his recruiting of Simpson and he is currently leaning towards LSU/SC.

Hey idiot if you td'd me, learn to read. They said Simpson looks like he's not coming to Clemson. He's an offensive lineman hence the reason I said have fun dealing with our d-line. That would be him going up against our (Clemson) d-line. Just spelling it out for you.

I can guarantee you since he was named the player of the year here in the low-country (Charleston Region) the P&C newspaper would be all over that. If the Clemson Recruiters have backed off then they maybe they know more. I know nothing but I hate to see a Person get hammered because he is a good Football player. If he's not the recruit that fits the Clemson image then I fully support our Team's recruiting. But knocking a 17-year-old for nothing is cruel and unusual punishment. Just facts Please as Joe Friday would have said  !
