Just decided to go to the BC game

Apologies if this has already been asked and answered here but does anyone have information on Tailgating in Boston? We’d like to set up some of the basics like a gas grill and corn hole. I’ve checked StubHub and the list of passes looks quite bare so all ideas are welcome.

I've always heard tailgating is pretty much non existent

I'd just find a nice sports bar to hang out at.

Yea. I agree. Find a good bar then hop the train to the game. Will put you out right at the stadium. I don’t think they open up lots till a few hours before and after games and they are pretty packed. Last time we went we went to the restaurant in the outfield wall at Fenway then to the game. Original Wahlburgers is near there also. Lots of TVs. At some point go to Beantown Pub. Only place in the world that you can drink a cold Sam Adams while looking at a cold Sam Adams ( he’s buried right across street). I know that’s corny but couldn’t resist. There’s a street down near where Celtics play with some good sports bars.

Didn’t help much with your tailgating question did it LOL.

Tailgating is pretty much non-existent by Clemson standards. Like the others said, find a sports bar and then subway up to Chestnut Hill. Don’t take the local train, take the express. And head up earlier than you think - hour before game the trains are PACKED to the gills. THere are a few BC folks tailgating, so if you get up there early enough, they’ll probably let you join in.

Supposedly only 2 hrs. before and 1 hr. after the game. This is what we heard on previous trips
