Just curious, but why didn't Phil Mafah get any more playing

time in the second half. The man looks like a star waiting to shine. This is to take nothing away from Kobe. I love Kobes determined running. I know there were a couple of times, I thought he was down for short gains, and the next thing you know he breaks free or moves the pile. Makes me wonder, what happens when Ship gets back. That's three very talented guys, that need to get on the field.

I'm not a coach, and I guess there's more to it than what I see, but he looked pretty good to me. Besides, he's got three more games to burn before his redshirt is gone.

Shipley hurt, RS Mafah is pretty much out the window unless Dukes comes on. Shipley was the one that was the key to RS Mafah. Shipley was ahead of Mafah starting the season. Had Mafah been ahead then the plan would have been to RS Shipley. Now if Shipley is slower to heal and not back to 100%, he could be the one that gets RS if Pace and Mafah stay healthy and can carry the load of the rest of the season.

Whatever we do, we're going to have to play them and trust them to make the play... As in sending mafah on a swing pass etc.
Also, get Ennis and Lay more touches with passes. Yeah, lay dropped one but it was his first target. Trust your youth. Speaking of which, seems like we need to see Stellato. See what he can do.
