Why am I too stupid to figure out how to post a gif, not as an attachment from mobile?
#1) Literal answer. Attempts to explain my stupidity.

But then viewers have to click on the attachment right? Can't it just be in the body of the message?

My understanding is as long as you save the GIF to your desktop, then attach it, it should work...
Honestly I'm too scared to try so let me know what you find out, ROFL.

Hold your thumb or finger on the image for a second, click copy, then tap in the message field on TigerNet and click paste.

Must not work like that on mobile, or at least android. Only options are download image and share image when held. I had previously tried all suggestions thus far. +1 for trying.

It may depend on your image platform and your device type...
.jpg, .gif and .png will act one way. .heic and .webp may act differently.
