I would generally refer to them as young women, just like I refer to their counterparts as young men, but I don't see the issue with girls. As long as we don't refer to them as a potential birthing person or one of the more offensive new monikers, then I am not going to have a problem.

Offensive - “ causing someone to feel deeply hurt, upset, or angry.” These are involuntary, visceral reactions.
JK, nor any anonymous Internet personality, is capable of being offensive to me personally. But understanding ethical boundaries and pointing them out does not require offense and is a choice and has nothing to do with being sensitive, offended, an
SJW, or trying to cancel people. Invoking those things to deflect criticism is a weak rhetorical gimmick.

To me there is a difference between a poor choice, and truly being insensitive. JK takes a lot of flack because of his views on CBB and at times Clemson football. Regardless of running against the grain sometimes, I think that JK is a true Clemson fan. If the post was taken poorly, then I am sure that it was not Judge's intention. Attacks on him and other fans on the board are more insensitive than anything. There are far fewer trolls than people who get attacked. This should be a time that we should be coming together as a Clemson family, not fighting with each other.

I imagine that most of his "enablers" are not defending the post, but attacking the idea that we should demean fellow Clemson fans. Many have probably been attacked, as well, for having something taken differently than what they intended. There are far too many on this sight that like to be keyboard bullies, which is really stupid considering most of us are here because of a common interest. However, I guess there are a lot of people that want to act like a big man in the virtual world because they can't do it in the real one.

I’ve said a lot of stupid things that I wish I could take back, but it’s the continuation and the extension of it whereby he doubles, triples, and quadruples down.
He started it with a bad joke at the wrong time. Fine, but then he entered into debate asking why we should be doing this for the Bresee family when others have lost loved ones due to cancer? It came across as mocking the entire effort. He did far more than that.

This has nothing to do with cancel culture. Vocally objecting to something is not cancel culture. Getting TNet to reveal who he is and having him fired and ostracized in real life is cancel culture. Worrying about the valid complaints slung at an anonymous internet avatar seems more than a little sensitive. Context matters too since JK had already made other questionable posts on the situation. This one crossed over into outright mockery of the “grey out” which is an officially University event. Placed fully in context there is no middle ground here.

When two points of view are oppositional what is the line that denotes bullying. JK was grossly out of line. Getting called out for it isn’t “bullying”. He’s also continued to repeatedly double down on the sentiment so he is inviting the continued and escalating criticism.

First, it was more than tone deaf - it was then repeated and doubled down as he continually tried to defend it and blame others when they objected to the post. A decent human being would have simply said - oops, maybe I missed he mark and said sorry. Nope, he kept doubling down.
Then add the constant pokes at the football program, Dabo hires and promotions, Dabo salary, Dabo decisions, his post last week where he said players should not be affected by Ellie being rushed back to the hospital, jealous of the football program, DJ attacks, receivers, recruiting, offensive line, linebackers, and then the inexcusable comment about the womens softball team.
When you total them, you get a donkey of an individual. He and his minions are trying to isolate this one post. But don’t let them fool you. It was tone deaf, he doubled down multiple times trying to defend or blame others, then add his many other jealous, negative, passive aggressive posts - and you can understand what people are talking about.

The Judge has been a respected member of this forum for many years. Although I disagree with much he says, and cannot begin to understand his defense of Brownell, he has always been all in Tiger and I’m sure he didn’t mean any disrespect to Ella or the Bresse Family. He’s made it clear that he did intend to offend and has done so, in increasingly insulting manner, in a variety of threads. A poster above linked to a bunch of them. JK has routinely attacked our fanbase as ignorant hicks, he despises many Clemson traditions, he insults our coaches, he has attacked numerous players, and now he subtly mocks the family of one of our players struggling with a death in the family. He has trolled the board with misogynistic jokes and has also started race-baiting threads. Apparently you’ve only glanced at a fraction of his output. I’ve never understood this knee jerk defense of a poster who has been gleefully on record as being pretty anti-Clemson. His defense of Brownell at a glance may appear pro-Clemson. But if you read a little deeper it’s actually part of a deep contempt for just about everything about it.

What you fail to realize I am trying to convey is that the post was removed so that no further damage can be done. Then some of you start yet another thread about said thread and keep it alive. I’m not going to argue with you about this. It’s pointless and in poor taste, even for the likes of TigerBalm and Myself which can be pretty tasteless. Shall we move along now?

Your post, which I responded to, began by stating that JK is “a respected member of this forum”. Not a plea to move on from the “gray suit” topic. If your going to make that statement - which I vehemently disagree with - I will respond and have done so. Otherwise, sure. I’ve said my peace with you. Unfortunately the structure of this particular message board isn’t linear and leaves lots of ongoing debates to pop up within a single thread.
