Because of your service, I am able to worship in the church of my choice, support political views of my choice, sleep safely at night, and get goose bumps every time I stand to sing the Star Spangled Banner! You all are true heroes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your sacrifice! Memorial Day should be every day!

We are grateful Joe and Clover survived their service in war but many of their comrades were not as lucky. May God bless those souls who gave their all for their country.

You are quite right - I remember them almost every day, but today it especially brings the feeling home. Many of the times it could have been me instead of them - just a few feet made all the difference.

Yes, Zee, I certainly meant no disrespect to those who gave their lives and those who forever wear the wounds from wars. God bless them for their ultimate service, and bless those left behind to remember them!

It started out in Columbus GA as Decoration Day.
I served but did not die. I have ancestors that have fought and died in Wars since the first one against England. I think them and all of their peers for making my life possible.
