Jersey wearing rules

Dec 14, 2016, 8:32 AM

If you are over the age of 13 you should not be wearing a Football jersey unless you meet the following criteria...

1) It is your jersey meaning you are a player.

2) It is your relatives jersey and they are playing in the game.

3) Halloween

4) You are being paid to wear it IE on field promotion/contest.

game I went to in September there was a lot of pretty attractive co-eds wearing some DW4 jerseys and I wasn't mad about it. Especially in their shorts and cowboy boots.

just sayin

It was a classier time when those were dresses and cowboy boots instead of jerseys. Guess times change though

i think it has more to do with whose jersey it is

Dec 14, 2016, 8:42 AM

DW is polarizing and we all love that dude and will miss him when he is gone.

After he does leave I think it goes back to sundresses and cowboy boots...at least I hope so but either way I'm not going to complain ; )

Nah, that drives my wife crazy. The sorority girls who wear the longer jerseys as dresses, I have to admit I agree with her it does look kinda trashy because they are never long enough to be a kinda short dress. Always innappropriately too short.

Need to clarify

Dec 14, 2016, 9:34 AM [ in reply to Re: Jersey wearing rules ]

Hockey & soccer are both legit for wearing jerseys. Hockey jerseys a little less so, unless you're going to a game, but soccer jerseys are good for most occasions since they're essentially just thick driFit t-shirts with a team's emblem on them. Obviously things change if it's a "game" jersey with a massive advertisement on the chest.

You can even get away with basketball jerseys if you're going to a summer party. Football jerseys, in general, should be widely prohibited after a certain age.

Im upset about this rule fellow Tigers, I wear a yankee jersey to Yankee games (now I get to see them a lot cheaper in Tampa when they play the Rays), and my Buff Bills Jersey's (Kelly, mine, Watkins, Thurman Thomas and Reed). Im sorry but its ok to wear them to games. I haven't worn a Jersey to DV since 2003. Not gonna lie though, I still wear my orange britches with a white Clemson nike t-shirt with a paw. Is that so wrong? Do I really have to give it up?
