I agree with Bresee assessment, Brian had a Really Tough year last year with losing his Sister
And being sick himself so much of the season. Plus he really never Dominated as expected, certainly
Not like Peter Woods Dominance. Wish Brian well, but he probably would have benefited More from another year in Tiger Town

Because he was a top player coming out of high school most nfl teams are comfortable drafting him high. When he’s healthy he’s able to play anywhere on the DL and he’s very quick off the ball & aggressive of the ball.

If it wasn’t for the holding allowed in the ACC the last two seasons he would have much better numbers despite the injuries.

If I had a NFL team he would be a 1st pick for me, even before Myles because he took a lot of plays off for self preservation. It’s a good way to get hurt playing not to get hurt. In the NFL that won’t work in my “opinion”.

Myles always looked like Tarzan but played like Jane half the time to me. Simpson and Bresee will be fine I wish they would have stayed a little longer.

That's funny. I tend to agree. Breese and Myles were studs for sure but something just always seemed off. I hope they pan out in NFL but can't say I will be shocked if they don't. I feel we didn't get the personal best from either.

Unlike some of those guys, I actually respect this dude. I don't always agree with his opinions, but he's better than Kiper and some others.

I hope these guys are drafted in first but can’t disagree with what he said. Murphy disappeared at times last year so makes me question if he has a consistent motor to be successful at next level. Brian should have come back and had a full year without all of the awful things that happened to him last year. I think Simpson is ready to be a good one in the NFL.

Someone is getting a steal if they get Breese or Simpson in the second round. Both will be better pros than college players. Breese legit had the worst luck I've seen and still played at a high level and that was even dealing with his sisters battle with cancer, he's only going to get better his ceiling is extremely high.

Simpson was under utilized last year(specifically rushing him), dude can do it all and if he goes to a team that's willing to use him like a Swiss army knife he's going to shine.

Then you don't know football.

Both Bresee and Murphy have loads of talent but not the performances to show for it.

Apr 22, 2023, 1:01 AM

They are projected as high draft picks due to their measurables, not their actual performance. Bresee especially is benefiting from being such a highly touted recruit coming out of high school.

Yes, last year was rough for him losing his sister, but that doesn’t fully explain his lackluster season nor his underwhelming college career overall.

Murphy has a higher ceiling in my opinion, but he never seemed to put it all together on a consistent basis.

I feel like both Bresee and Murphy can be good pros, but I would be disappointed if my team chose either in the first round.

I see Murphy going late first round and Bresee going in the second round. I hope both prove me wrong and are Pro Bowl players.
