Jeff Scott will be on the hot seat after yesterday.

Will he come back to Clemson or go to Oklahoma or Virginia ?. Will he end up on Saban’s staff ? It’ll be interesting.

It might be best for him to pair up again with Tony Elliott.

I would love to see him at Clemson again if it goes sour in South Florida. However, a stint with Saban would likely be very beneficial for his coaching career.

I say Co-offensive coordinator with Streeter would be good, and help out with the WR's. Jeff recruited WR's at a championship level, and he put some of the top NFL WR's into the NFL. Things with our offense were really good when Jeff Scott was part of the decision making, and coaching within our offense!!!

It always amazes me when someone sees something at a great distance where they have no inside knowledge or expertise. Then they overlay their own expectations presenting it as fact on a message board when they are completely wrong.

You must be fun at parties

light up, Francis. Not many of us have "inside knowledge". It is called a discussion board for people to post opinions and discuss them.

The OP is right, Scott must be on a warm if not a hot seat based on results so far. You don't need to be Kirk Herbstriet to see that.

It is not just the losses. At some point ..... very soon ..... they are going to have to start being competitive.

I'd love to see him back at Clemson. No question our WR recruiting/play has dropped after his departure.

Screw Calford.

What role would he have here though? Offensive analyst?

Yeah, they did not look good. Hope he can get it going soon.***

Won't last much longer. He's already overstayed his welcome.

Maybe a touchy topic overstay, but he was able to mask or diverted a lot of the Rona issues as directly related to on field trouble. That basically gave all new coaches somewhat of a pass.

I think we're all past blaming COVID this year, minus a catastrophic break out or lock down again.
