Jacksonville and Bill O'Brien? Please no!

Jan 7, 2022, 12:53 PM

Jags have interest and will interview him next week. Keep this moron away from Clemson QB's!!

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.

Quickest way out for Trevor, because he has a knack for getting rid of the best players on the team.

BO'B didn't ruin the Texans until they gave him GM power.

If the Jags are smart enough to keep him as the head coach only, then he would at the very worst be a major upgrade from what Trevor dealt with this season which isn't saying much.

It honestly doesn't matter who the coach is in Jacksonville for the next couple of seasons because that roster needs a MAJOR overhaul to come close to competing for even a .500 season.

Yes him as a GM set the Texans back for years.

You don’t remember him losing game’s with his play calling a few seasons before he became GM??

Someone please explain why Bill O'Brien is such an attactive

Jan 7, 2022, 1:04 PM

head coaching prospect?? Seems like this guy is horribly average as a head coach - both in college and the NFL...

Probably because he is cheap. Don’t know of any other reason

Bama fans want to run him off as OC

Jan 7, 2022, 1:48 PM [ in reply to Someone please explain why Bill O'Brien is such an attactive ]

and he is attractive as an NFL HC? Crazy world!

Bama fans are also a tad spoiled

Jan 7, 2022, 2:17 PM

They lost almost every major contributor from last years offense and still won the SEC and are back in the title game. I'm not saying Sark isn't a better college OC than BOB, but it's not like they finished near the bottom of D1 offensively like some other team I know.

No, he got laughed out of Texas. I pray for Trevor’s sake they do not hire him.

Jags must not have watched his horrible game management in Houston. Why not Eric Bienemy?

Re: Jacksonville and Bill O'Brien? Please no!

Jan 7, 2022, 1:49 PM

Bieniemy should have a job in the NFL as a Head Coach by now and it's probably because of his history since he did beat his wife but he's changed other then that he should have a Head Coaching Job.

Re: Jacksonville and Bill O'Brien? Please no!

Jan 7, 2022, 2:14 PM

Bieniemy supposedly only verbally attacks his wife now, plus the NFL is pretty lenient on those things as long as you aren’t forcing someone to massage you.

Bill O’Brein, while not the most successful head coach , has managed to lead Alabama to a CFP appearance in year 1

TL16 career will be dead if they hire BOB. As well as my trips to Ajax to watch TL16. DW4 was ten times the NFL QB as TL16, and BOB ripped Houston apart.

If Jax does not hire Hackett, or KC or Tampa OC’s, they get more humiliation.

Doug Peterson best choice there by far!!!!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

If Shad Khan tries to hire BOB, NFL should take the team...

Jan 7, 2022, 5:14 PM

away from him.

My vote goes to Byron Leftwich. His play-calling as the Bucs OC is quite good and fresh. He puts out a wide variety of looks and formations that offer Brady a full menu of options. He also has Brady's respect.

If the Steelers are somehow stupid enough to part ways with Mike Tomlin, the decision for the Jags is a no-brainer.

Pederson might work out OK. Seems like he wore out his welcome with pretty much everyone in Philly (including players). Not sure if he's a long term kind of guy but maybe he learned from what happened.

maybe he was born to ruin Clemson QB's***

He’d be two for two if hired.
