J. K. - has he/she really checked out?

Feb 18, 2022, 10:42 PM

Incoming basketball players education was always decent but not superb. He/she was fun for putting on a great defense for CBB.

Seriously do you think JK could be CBB's wife? And that is a serious question? Knew just enough to make quality posts but left some post open ended?

Just what's your thoughts? I think JK might have been CBB's wife or a family member. I think they got wore out after this negative season.

Reminds me of the "Dread-locked" student that went to every game during OP tenure, whether it was home or away! He was awesome and made TV time at every game, it also stressed the amount of fandom Clemson had at the time under OP, but that number has probably fell to 50% or less?

Those fandom days of OP made the games that much more fun!!

Hope we see the fandom we had in the past!

Someone who works closely with the basketball program

And knows Brownell personally. Staff in some capacity i imagine.

people spend too much time analyzing

a poster that all out supports a Clemson program.

I’m sure most would spend a lot less time doing it

If he/she hadn’t been bashing Dabo and the football team constantly

"a Clemson program" is the key to your statement...***

Not sure why I got TD unless its from JK himself. Never had a problem with JK except for his never-ending support for CBB. I like CBB, just not sure Clemson is the right team!

Go forward my friends to let people know if they have anything else to make sure they are not going to miss.

Wow? Why would it strike a nerve if I asked if JK cashed it in. Why is that a sacred question? I have never chased JK posts like others. I really liked the insight that I missed on Clemson Bball although I disagree most the time.

Hopefully JK is healthy honestly! We can debate anydate?!

Covid is real, even for the healthy as I posted few wks ago.

ICA I believe he or she is around just under another name. Been a few Brownell apologist on here, and I respect their opinions, but they seem very similar in thought and wording.

It is very strange. I admit I’m not a Brownell supporter, but there are some arguments to keep him. Conversations are always better when you can hear both sides.

Most definitely I love great conversations on topics. Some want to go right into shaming anyone that does not agree with them but there is always 2 sides and usually good points to be made on both sides. Seems the majority on here has looked at the whole body of work and realize we are as far as we can go with Brownell. Not heard anyone that bashes the man because he runs a corrupt program. I do see the money side of things as well but facilities seem to be great from the outside looking in and maybe more money for better assistant’s could be granted as well. I do think there are better opportunities out there for the same money being paid now.

You can love Clemson basketball without being a total chatch. Anyone who goes out of their way to tear down Clemson football is the enemy to me.

And this is coming from a guy who agrees with a lot of his points about the program needing more financial support.

Unsure if some actually miss JK or miss bashing him for his endless support of BB? He seemed to take a lot of heat (and some deserved) but .. now, all seemed to have lost their long lost friend. He was passionate with his support for Clemson overall.

Maybe he just got tired of all the bashing and being the “but” of all of BB’s deficiencies as our basketball coach?

Many seem to truly miss him. If he returned, would those “concerned” with his absence go back to their daily bashing? If he did return I would be curious to see/read if he’d be welcomed back as a friend or a long lost whipping post for some.

I think it would be the same. He supported a failing regime while taking digs at the football program. Financially I get some of his points but generally most athletic departments are smart enough to take good care of what takes good care of them and at Clemson that is football.

Never understood his undying devotion to BB. Throwing stones at Dabo and our football program certainly crossed a line and drew the ire of many.

Hopefully he’s healthy and just licking his wounds from another stellar BB year.

This board is a more civil place without him/her/them here any more. They had too many stats handy to be a normal fan. Had to be a coach, staff, family member, BB himself, or maybe Tim Bouret.

Class of ‘71. Went through “rat season” and glad I did.
