Nope. My nickname didn’t come from my family. None of my siblings have nicknames that stuck. I got mine from my first girlfriend.

up, his last name was Humphries. And his dad umpired baseball (minor league level, I they were the Greenville Spinners back then and played at Meadowbrook Park). Anyway, with his dad being an "ump" and last name "Hump"... yeah, he was called Ump. I still call him that, as do all of his old friends.
This nickname was kinda mean... another friend had a younger brother, maybe 2 years younger than us. And he was just small... say, he's 15 but looks 12. So we just always called him "Boy". I'm sure he probably wasn't crazy about it, but it stuck, and everybody called him Boy.
