I was late getting home from Mom's last night...

but I did crack an unopened bottle of Blanton's when I got home in Bruce's honor. He never was much of a bourbon guy, but he would drink Blanton's.
That got me thinking about the time someone brought the bottle shaped like an AK47 of REALLY bad vodka to the tailgate. It took us two full football seasons and two VomitFests to finish that horrible bottle....but we did. I was there when we cracked the bottle open, and I was there when we managed to finish the bottle. I covered a LOT of great memories and did a LOT of thinking yesterday. In review, it's incredible just how much of an impact that meeting Bruce had on my life. Sorry to spill over to another day, but I'm still processing the tragic loss of a good friend.

I knew he and I lived relatively close to each other...So one day I mentioned my zip code and said "which may be the same as Celtic's". To which he replied a different zip code but not too far from me.
So anyways, a couple weeks later I'm coming back from the lake and I'm sitting at a red light in this zip code. A guy rolls by wearing a ball cap (I've seen his picture a time or two on tnets) and I am 95% certain that is Celtic. So the next week, I say "Hey Celtic, did you drive by ##### Street on Friday afternoon around 3:30?" And he said no.

I was at Dead and Company in Charlotte a few months back and saw a guy who looked just like @RobertN (RIP). Didn't say because I was trashed and it was a one in a billion chance...
anyway... a day or so later I check snapchat and see that I had a message from him saying that he was going to be at the show.
Man talk about a missed connection.
