all that the Tigers at 19-8 currently in the conference got to do is take care of business next Thursday,Friday and Saturday up at Pittsburgh and they will be the 2018 Atlantic Division Champs.Just don't see N.C.State at 15-9 with Wake Forest at home and FSU on the road going unbeaten altogether in those 2 series.Need Duke to take care of 18-6 UNC this coming weekend as well as Virginia Tech the following weekend winning atleast 1 game for the Tigers to have a good chance at winning the overall ACC Regular Season Championship.The Tigers can definitely pull it off,just a matter of doing their part first and foremost.

But the only way to get crowned acc championship is winning the tournament, correct? Or do you get a banner for reg season champs. Tia.

correct on the only way to get crowned ACC Champion is winning the tournament,which gives you the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament but the ACC also has a regular season champion because Clemson has won 21 ACC Regular Season Championships in it's Baseball history to go along with 2 Atlantic Division Titles.

I've never liked the #1 overall seed being called "Regular Season Champs" and getting a trophy and a banner. To me the tournament is the only real conference champion.

Yea you're right the real champion should come from winning the tournament but wouldn't you agree that if you finish the tough and grueling 30 game ACC regular season atop the standings that that is big accomplishment and you should be awarded for it and put in the record books for doing it and also given the overall #1 seed going into the ACC Tournament.

Yes, but it shouldnt be on the same level as the conference tournament and you shouldn't combine the two to have your total conference championships. I was first exposed to this watching Mississippi State one year and they were celebrating with shirts and those SEC signs as if they won the tournament.
