it's the end of the world as we know it

Apr 13, 2020, 10:43 PM

This is where I draw the line. I don't want to live in a world without Duke's mayo.

A drunk will run a STOP sign, but a stoner will wait for it to turn green.

I see they waited until after

the Easter dinner deviled egg rush to do this. Smart business move. Glad I bought the gallon tub at Sam's the last time I was there. Seriously, $7 and some change for a gallon of Duke's??? Why wouldn't you?

If there's a shortage of Duke's, I won't even bother putting

Store managers tell me they just can't get the inventory for any of the items. The supply change is destroyed as we knew it.

Not sure where you live but in Lexington SC you can't find any paper fries, frozen items, cheese, meats. Bread.

More tp,paper towels and chlorox wipes up here in Asheville area depending on the grocery store.Says they have product at Ingles warehouse but not enough drivers to cover the panic buying. You would think people who are panic buying would eventually run out of room to store the stuff, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.Still wait on store to open to run in and get their two packs of paper products.Makes no sense.

I will want to leave this world if Tombstone pizza starts to lay people off or closes. That is when I would just draw the line and start licking toilet seats.

I was just talking about this yesterday. I double bought

Apr 14, 2020, 9:26 AM

two of the largest Duke's mayonnaise jars they had at the grocery store. We bought twice the mayo because we're not getting the half we used to get before from restaurants. Our mayo consumption is not changing. Net Dukes mayo down the gullets in the Tiggity household remains consistent.

I'm thinking there's something more sinister here going on. Have several ideas but for the life of me I can't figure out....people still need to eat. If they don't get food in a restaurant, they're still going to eat food. It's about as stable and consistent of a demand as just about anything there is. Nothing is more fundamental than food and water. There are several possibilities why, but it's not a demand problem.
