Its Georgia Southern NOT GEORGIA STATE lol.

We are playing Georgia Southern at 3:30 on Saturday (weather permitting).........not Georgia State they are an entirely different school who we last played back in 2014. Yeah its gonna be a cake walk but lets at least be aware of the opponent we are playing I've watched people say the wrong team the whole week. Rant over Go Tigers and be safe with this crazy weather this weekend!

Oh, I get and welcome trash talk. I just prefer it to be a little bit more clever and original rather than like 50 threads pretending that we are Georgia State. I work with a Clemson grad also, in the engineering field.

I know, but you have to admit, the relentless refusal to acknowledge the school name is kinda funny.
I know next to nothing about your current team. I am familiar with Ga Southern’s proud history. Yes, I said proud, and you should be proud. Next to watching Clemson beat big names and/or win Championships, there is nothing I enjoy more than watching a Ga. Southern or App St beat somebody they’re not supposed to.
As for this game, here’s how I see it. We’re too big, too strong, and too fast for y’all to overcome it with scheme. What do you think?

I think I like it when teams overlook us and we are the underdog. Yes, by the numbers and size Clemson is the better team. But Georgia Southern has always had heart and we are a proud program.

I think you are misreading the situation. Yes Tiger fans are on here being flip, but that has absolutely nothing to do with how the team is preparing. For the last several years we have had an open date before playing GT. That always gave us 2 weeks to prep for their option attack. This year we have y’all, right before GT. It’s not an accident. Your option is getting the full an undivided attention of the Clemson staff and players......all week. Does our DC really strike you as the kind of guy that that overlooks opponents.

I am from Ga. I like GSU. I am lifelong friends with your head coach. Having said that, y'all are going to get drug up and down the field. You are not the same program you were under Russell and Johnson. You will get covered by as many points as Dabo chooses to hang on you.

i'm no lawyer but i believe there should be a law against such plagiarism.

Let me give you the long and short of it.
I'm gonna say it one more time. We are Georgia Southern. Our colors are blue and white. We call ourselves the Bald Eagles. We call our offense the Georgia Power Company...and that's a terrific name for an offense. Our snap count is "rate, hike". We practice on the banks of Beautiful Eagle Creek and that's in Statesboro, Georgia--the gnat capital of America. Our weekends begin on Thursday. The co-eds outnumber the men 3 to 2. They're all good looking and they're all rich. And folks, you just can't beat that...and you just can't beat Georgia Southern. And you ain't seen nothin yet!
