and as such why increase the CFP to 8 when only 3-6 are worth a toot by selection time.

Because if you look at Texas A&M they were the 12th best team, we beat them , with no problem...so I'm with you, we dont need to add no more, unless teams want to loose to Clemson by 40 on national TV
