So many great contributions leading Clemson to their first National Championship in 1981. I was fortunate to be there. Homer Jordan on Clemson’s last drive kept the offense on the field. He deserves this honor and it should have happened much sooner. The 1981 team was one awesome team on both sides of the ball. It was one of the best nights of my life. I was able to share it with my Mom and Dad.

Congratulations Homer you are one the great player’s to have played in Death Valley. That was a great team.
