It's a simple question

Feb 19, 2023, 8:46 PM

for the democrats. Your POTUS says this:

Feb 16, 2023. “You know, it was almost exactly one year ago that I signed a law more than 100 years in the making. It was an honor. It was one of the great honors of my career. The Emmett Till Antilynching Act, making lynching a federal hate crime.
You know, folks, lynching is pure terror, enforcing the lie that not everyone belongs in America and not everyone is created equal. Pure terror to systematically undermine hard-fought civil rights. Innocent men, women, children hung by a noose from trees. Bodies burned, drowned, castrated.
Their crimes? Trying to vote. Trying to go to school. Trying to own a business. Trying to re- — preach the gospel. False — false accusations of murder, arson, robbery. Lynched for simply being Black, nothing more. With white crowds, white families gathered to celebrate the spectacle, taking pictures of the bodies and mailing them as postcards.
Hard to believe, but that’s what was done. And some people still want to do that.”

and I simply want to know who are the white people the POTUS references as wanting to see lynching of black women and children? Do you know someone like this? Have you heard of someone like this?

I mean, if the POTUS says this, it must be true and it must really be a widespread problem for him to say this in a speech.

Biden’s handlers … wickedly comedic writers

1

Feb 19, 2023, 9:12 PM

Biden’s handlers are maniacal.

Putting up their rube POTUS to read absolute garbage from the teleprompter, and laughing themselves silly in witnessing the subsequent praise from Biden’s indoctrinated sheep.

Sadistic cruelty by Biden’s minders … getting amusement (while also consolidating their power) via writing comedy skits which target the mentally challenged. Making fun of their mindless supporters again and again.

Cruel, but wickedly comedic writing nonetheless.

You can post all the .gifs you want, but you didn't answer the question, and we are all laughing at you.

Dylan Roof was a mental case and his shooting did not involve lynching or white people taking photos of the event.

Payton Gendron shot people in a grocery store. Ditto.

So, I'm still waiting for all the reports of LYNCHING. You know, the type of LYNCHING for which your pals felt like we need a federal law.

Try again.

Lynching is a form killing right? Did DRoof and PGendry not both kill black people because they believed black people were inferior and a scourge on society and a threat to a white utopia? If they both were posters on here, would they not be giving your posts many TU's? Why is that?

Not sure what's not to understand.

The bill the democrats passed was the Emmett Till Antilynching Act and this is what Brandon was speaking about. The link is at the bottom.

I'll give LucidTiger props because he at least answered the question. In his opinion there are still undertones of this type of thing going on. I'd suggest maybe those undertones are, for example, frustrations that white people are being called racist while black people smash and grab in stores, democrats do not speak out against it, yet when the stores close because of crime, democrats complain it's more racism. YCMTSU. I really can't imagine people genuinely wanting to see or even have blacks hung. Sure, we have 350M people in the country and there will be a few of any type of person you can imagine. But I would highly disagree the number of people wanting this warrants a Federal law against it and the POTUS making multiple speeches about it.

So I'm understanding you correctly...

Feb 20, 2023, 9:04 AM

You oppose an anti-lynching law?

And you are saying that people pointing out racism causes racism? Isn't that kind of like saying umbrellas cause rain?

2024 white level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: So I'm understanding you correctly...

Feb 20, 2023, 9:14 AM

No, as usual you understand nothing.

The POTUS pressed to pass a federal law against lynching and the POTUS has made at least two speeches about it. Play the twitter link. The POTUS says some people still want to watch and take photos of black women and children being lynched.

My question to you - do you believe lynchings are a big enough problem to trade the deep race division statements like this cause for awareness of the lynching problem?

To answer that maybe you can also answer this - are you aware of any lynchings in the USA in the last, say, 50 years?

What I think is he is pandering to blacks and only has one singular motivation from this entire stunt - get votes and the collateral damage doesn't matter. I think he's a POS for saying it because I do not believe it is true.

So you can't think for yourself, but can glom onto another's post. Typical.

You just can't deal with the truth. You don't know anyone what wants to see blacks lynched and photographed, nor does anyone else.

The POTUS is clearly talking about HANGING. Listen to him again. Don't try and back pedal your way into a different discussion. The large majority of people will understand the POTUS to mean HANGING when he says LYNCHING. Do you disagree?

The Arbery case is not even close to a situation where women and children are hung because they are black.

Keep trying...

You don't think DRoof and PGendry would not be delighted to see blacks swinging from ropes? This is too easy.

Man, it's really unfair of me to even try and reason with you. Literally, it is like talking to a rock. You make several posts and somehow just now come to this conclusion.

So you are saying people want to see blacks lynched? That must include you if you are so sure about it. Is that true?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: You need this.

Feb 20, 2023, 9:29 AM

I responded directly to your OP, answered your simple question, and totally destroyed it. Yes, there are still people out there who would love to see black people lynched. It's laughable that you believe that to not be the case. Your question in the OP was proven as I gave you 2 examples of people who actually crossed the line and murdered black people because of their white grievances. You know #### well there are many more who think like they do, but are unwilling to cross that line.

If I'm reading the quote correctly, the operative word is "want"

"And some people still want to do that."

I'm not a Biden supporter - I'll make that clear as I'm mostly apolitical and find (more every day) politicians to be some of the worst societal contributors in our nation.

Sadly, but true, I hear undertones of wishful thinking in comments at the occasional gathering - perhaps where some feel safer (?) in saying these things. I've had to remove myself from these settings/potential encounters, avoiding the wink and nod that often comes with the utterance(s). Would they pursue or do these things they allude to? Unlikely, of course, as there is far too much to lose (gainful employment, family, prison, shunning, judgment, etc.). But to answer your question, yes, there are those that still want to - regardless of what politician says so. As always, this is an opinion, nothing more - I could be missing something of the ask. Apologies, if so.

Inside the DC beltway, thousands of Karens are the “CEO” of think-tanks

1

Feb 20, 2023, 8:08 AM

That are set up to “educate” lawmakers on the dangers of “white Christian nationalism”. (Ironically, the federal government constantly promotes Jewish nationalism for Israel but that is a different topic).

Anyway, for these people to continue to justify their existence, they have to continually exaggerate their claims, flying in the face of reality, to make it seem like white Christians are the biggest evil in the world and are waiting around every corner to torture helpless minorities.

Just like the global warming crowd, years of living in this bubble with no corrective mechanism have culminated in their absolute insanity, which is reflected in the things big-government politicians say on TV, because those politicians’ only connection to reality is the “research” produced by these think-tanks.

Careful now, many Tnetters consider the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel as a signature achievement of Trump. You don't want to alienate your base.

because I support his policies. When he's right, he's right. When he's wrong, he's wrong. I have never been shy to point out either side of that. Just last week I mocked his terribly childish attack on the war-profiteering neocon Haley.

He's right - the basic idea is 'follow the money.'

If in doubt, that policy almost always provides insight into true motivations.

Why is education so screwed up - the Education mafia. The need to for all these great ufcking thinkers to identify why they need to be paid millions to change everything. Results do not matter - what matters is these elitist libs make millions and believe they have done something and can look down on working people that provide products or services people need and will pay for instead of being a blood sucking leech on the system.

Changing education is an industry.

Same as racism. Hundreds of thousands now make a living off racism. Look at the bloated DE&I departments sucking valuable resources away from projects that could improve products or services, which could improve profitability.

Same as climate change. Millions of elites are now invested, literally, in the climate crisis. ESG - a huge con.

Re: It's a simple question

Feb 20, 2023, 9:37 AM

I believe the legal definition of lynching involves multiple people executing an individual without due process. The two guys who chased Ahmed Arbery in South GA a few years ago basically lynched him, even though no rope was used.

Plenty of documentary evidence on just how pervasive extrajudicial killings have been over the years. That fact alone is worth having a special law to prevent this kind of mob justice. It’s one of the ugliest, most brutal facts of American History, and everyone should understand why the law can’t be rushed or carried out by emotionally deranged mobs who think they know what is best for their communities.

Re: It's a simple question

Feb 20, 2023, 10:35 AM

You are making my point for me. The POTUS is clearly talking about hanging women and children with white people watching (for entertainment or whatever) and taking photos.

This is nowhere near the Arbery case.

Were the perps in the Arbery case going out driving around black neighborhoods looking for blacks to shoot while the others got their rocks off watching? No they were not. It certainly can be argued Arbery was not killed simply because he was black. If they were intent on killing him because he was black, why didn't they shoot him at the outset and move on? This is more a matter of opinion. Lynchings in the historical sense did not necessarily require a motivating action other than being black.

Look at the Lynching trend. Even in your source the plot ends in 1930s.

Your source: In 1952, for the first time since the Tuskegee Institute began tabulating records in 1882, a full year passed with no recorded lynchings in the United States. That's 71 years ago.

The visual of torch carrying racists are reminiscent of the period. If they had the chance would they have lynched someone, I bet it’s quite likely.

The history is what it is, sorry you are still in denial if your forefathers we’re in one of those crowds, like the one in Salisbury NC.

Best to acknowledge our sins and move forward together so we keep the lingering sentiments of white supremacist ideology in check.
