I have a CWP and carry frequently.
Although I haven't murdered anybody I do like having the peace of mind that nobody is going to murder me without my consent. I prefer to keep mine hidden so I doubt I'll open carry. No reason for bad guys to know what's coming.

This is the dumbest post. You realize this law is for people who ALREADY have a permit to carry a firearm. Meaning this in NO WAY puts more guns on the street.

Wrongo. Constitutional carry did NOT get passed in SC. This bill is for individuals who have taken the necessary safety and training course in order to legally carry a concealed firearm. So when I’m at the mall and I sit down to eat my lunch at the food court I don’t have to worry about someone accidentally seeing my weapon if my shirttail rides up.

Don’t understand the purpose of this law. Just what in the hell type of problem is it trying to solve. Seeing a gun on a non police officer automatically makes me put my hand on my ccw.

Lol. If just seeing a gun carried by a law abiding citizen makes you go for your gun, then you have no business carrying a gun.
Pro tip for you- the criminals aren’t going to let you know they have a weapon until they intend use it.
