Clemson is used to playing in big games every season, it’s really just more of the same for us. UGA, on the other hand, is not used to big games like this. And the few big games they’ve been in, well, let’s just say they haven’t gone well. See their National Championship game vs Alabama and their nail biter vs Cincinnati. I remember clearly when another team thought they were ready for the big time and cameras caught the priceless expression on their coach’s face as his team entered Death Valley…
I expect Kirby will have a similar dumbfounded look Saturday, if it’s even possible for him to have a dumber look.

They nearly choked in their Bowl against Cincinnati. They only won that due to having much more depth.

would be an intimidating environment for Kirby and his squad. I imagine some players will just be happy to be there, and star-struck, but neither is a good mindset going into this game. It is one thing to not match up physically against an opponent, but when you go into it knowing you are going to lose, then it is just a self-fulfilling prophecy.
It will be interesting to see how Vegas shifts their lines after reading my post.

Georgia has been in plenty of big games. Success is another story. Skalski said once the game starts, the location doesn’t matter. It’s who brings the A game.
