I should qualify that and say that does not mean we will go out and pay big bucks to bring in a big name from the outside; Dabo may indeed promote from within. I'm just saying that we already know that Clemson will pay big bucks if need be.

In any case, I don't know what Dabo has planned, but my spidey-sense is telling me Bates will be promoted for the bowl game and retain the title for continuity. We will backfill his position. Again, this is just a gut feeling.
