The defenses are simply stacking the box, crashing the line and daring us to pass! Defenses don’t respect our passing game at all!

It appears to me DJ struggles pre-snap to read defenses, but hopefully he's improving in this area week to week.

He also hesitates before passing the ball. Not sure if this is because he's overly cautious trying to not risk interceptions, lacks confidence in himself or his receivers, is confused about what the opponents defense is doing, or some combination of the above.

He just doesn't seem to be a quick thinker like DW and TL are. He is slow with his progressions. Not hating on him that is just what I see so far. I don't think the coaches really give him a chance to show off his arm talent tho.

The DE broke contain every time we ran RPO and DJ still handed the ball off instead of keeping it. Twice he had nothing but green in front of him.

DE can break contain if there is no opportunity for the Qb to drop back and throw the ball. At that point it becomes a RR option. Bothe the WB and the RB are tees off on.

I just know that he is not playing well. Stats do not lie. DJ is not our only problem on offense, but he is by far the biggest.

I trust that Dabo will get it fixed. We must not be very deep at QB. And now with Will Taylor's injury, we may be even less deep. At some point it needs to be "Next Man Up". No other position would get such a lengthy "grace period" or long leash. I'm glad that Dabo is loyal to his players, but he also has obligations to the team. DJ cost the team 2 losses, though UGA has a great D. Perhaps we would have lost with another QB, But hopefully we would have had fewer 3 and outs.

Fix it, Dabo!

He isn't even trying to read the defense. He's locking in on the primary target which makes it very easy for LBs and DBs to read him.

This is something he may never be able to correct, much less this season.
