It's 949 miles to Clemson, we got a quarter tank of gas (probably going to need more), full a pack of 5 hour energies, it's dark... and we're not wearing sunglasses yet, but will probably put them on later.

have made the trip often by car from Columbia.

Last summer a brother and his wife were along for the trip, and I was driving on that 27 mile long bridge on I-10 west out of Baton Rouge.

She leaned over the seat and said, "I don't remember ever driving 100 miles per hour over a bridge before!" We cracked up, although I could understand her concern: we were in my Mustang convertible...with music blaring...sipping on drinks!

Hitting the Texas state line at Beaumont on I-10 with the speed limit at 75 MPH meant one thing: add about 15-20 MPH, get in the left lane...and let it rip! Guaranteed automatic face lift! lol

Of course..anyone (you) who wrote sports for The TiGER student newspaper (me & you), but became Sports Editor and then Editor of the entire newspaper has to be good..but not necessarily funny..and you my Man are Both!
