Knew that we just weren’t going to be very good this year and have come to terms with it. Why else is there no more fire or passion about the current state of affairs?

Could you imagine how Saban would be conducting himself in this situation?!

I don’t disagree. It’s pathetic. Maybe that’s just who we are right now.

OL is porous, starting a true freshman. And he is no Mitch Hyatt.

No legitimate threat to bust one at any moment.

DJ looks like he is either petrified, or he’s not being allowed to do anything at the line. Or just doesn’t know what to do. For someone who “prepares as well as anyone who has been here.” It took 16 seconds to make a check at the line only to call an audible, waste a timeout, and fail to convert anyways…

They didn’t let Deshaun or Trevor at first either. The difference was they had the ability to make something happen with their feet when things broke down. DJ does not. Doesn’t mean he’s a bad QB and doesn’t have talent. Just means he’s not the type of QB this team needs.
