Breese

Nov 22, 2022, 3:22 PM

Before the season started, it was a given that he would go pro after this year, but now I'm hearing that he's open to a possible return.

He's giving the appropriate public response of just being focused on this season and this next game; but wants to see how the rest of the season plays out before talking things over with his family.

I think after everything that's happened this season he comes back. Would love to see KJ come back too but he's had a monster year and deserves to be a 1st rounder.

I agree whole heartedly about KJ. He is the most underrated line.

I think Bressee would be wise to consult with some draft experts after the season - to see where he can expect to be drafted.

Maybe I get crucified for saying this,

But I don’t think he has had a first round year.
I know he’s dealt with tons of injury and personal issues that have limited his play, but overall production hasn’t seemed massively high in his games.

Would love to see him come back next year , he and Tre Williams in the middle , Kevin Swint and who knows who on the other DE side, while allowing the young guys in Woods, Burley, Parker, to get some 2nd team reps but not carry the weight of being first man up yet.

He's on social media a lot with E11A's foundation. The whole family is... understandably. Lots of love and grief there. He's in a safe place with his Clemson family around him. Especially Dabo. It may be better for him if he did stay.

He has had a tough season. Would love for him to come back and have a great senior year, but we'll wait and see.

Nov 22, 2022, 3:42 PM

in elite football shape i think he would dominate. He's just not had a year where he could get settled. Its been a tough go this season for Brian. He would get drafted this year but I think he makes more money if he comes back and becomes the primo elite DL in the NCAA. But of course i'm biased to the Paw.

Well he was injured last year too. The NFL will look at his whole body of work and I'm not sure he has shown elite skills this year. I think another year and if healthy could be top4 and lots more money. He is already getting a bunch of NIL money and the foundation has posted lots of money. He can survive and potentially make 5x as much as low end first or 2nd round draftee

No. This is his third year.

No, if he was he could not be considered for the draft.

Would love to have him back. But he's a first-round projection on most boards I've seen. Don't count us out - however unlikely.

I think he comes back. Just a hunch. I believe he feels he has some unfinished business

Only had a full season his Freshman year. Missed most of last year and plenty of games this year. Maybe he feels there is some unfinished business to attend to.

Would love to have him back but he's already lost one season due to a serious injury. One more and he's suddenly a mid round pick, if he gets drafted at all. Hard to imagine him risking a first round pay day.

Poor guy has had so much going on this year. I do think it would be best for him to put this year behind him and come back next year and blow it out. I don't think he would hurt himself at all by waiting another year to turn Pro. I'd love to see him and XT come back next year and dominate all season long.

Is XT eligible to return next year? I don't think he redshirted, and has been here since 2018. So that's 5 seasons of playing (4 years + the Covid year).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He can still come back and play another year. Not sure

Bresee is gone, he's got a 1st rnd grade. You take the money and run. There is no benefit in him returning. Hope he heals up and has a great NFL career.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I looked it up. He’s a redshirt Sophmore. So with Covid year

Nov 22, 2022, 4:46 PM

He could play 4 more years at Clemson since he only played 4 games last year. With for more years of eligibility what’s one more year at Clemson!

Nov 22, 2022, 4:53 PM

He doesn't have 4 years of eligibility. The covid year allows athletes a 6-year window to complete their 4 full seasons of eligibility. He's already been here 3 years...he can't stay 4 more.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think he comes back.***

A $1 million NIL would certainly make it a difficult decision. Not sure Reign has that kind of deal for any of our players?
