RB - Jeremiah Cobb - Decides Friday, believed to be Auburn/lean. After Cobb, not sure.
WR - I don't know much there.
OL - Zechariah Owens - Commits to Clemson on Monday.
DL - Hunter Osbourne is being heavily recruited by our current commits. Peter Woods is our other target and set to decide next Friday. Bama was believed to be the favorite, some have suggested we may have made up ground and have a shot.
S - Robert Billings has been to projected to Clemson recently. Not sure if there are any "bigger fish" that we still pursuing, like Caleb Downs.
CB - Damari Brown is the last known offer I am aware of that is a CB.

We have 12 commits so adding six would only be 18. Was hoping we get to 21-22 so heading onto the 23 season we would have a full 85
|

Dabo usually grants a few scholarships to walk ons that he feels has earned it each year. Add a couple more commits between now and signing day and we could get pretty close. I’d like to see a full 85 as well.

But i think we need to sign a pretty big class this year. Unless the Tigernet scholarship breakdown is incorrect, we are currently sitting at 77/85 scholarships after all of the attrition. We will essentially be operating under self-imposed scholarship sanctions this year (not great!).
We have 14 seniors plus some guys like Bresee and Murphy that will probably go pro. And we will have some transfers leaving, always do.
That likely leaves us with 25+ scholarships to fill, most of which will be done via this recruiting class. Maybe Dabo holds a few for selective transfer targets this year, but I'd be kind of surprised if he isn't shooting for ~22 in this class.

I think we technically had 1 we could give past the snapper that will get one. So the self imposed scholarship limits people keep trying to bring up is BS. That last scholly will likely go to one of the PWOs. We will not overcommit on offers. There are a lot of guys that people assume will leave for the NFL. Some with multiple years left due to Covid year. We will have to wait until their post-season decision to see how many we need to add during the late signing period. I would expect a few to come open then. Bresee still has 4 years left as of today. I expect him to leave but he may want to stick around to see if he could move to #1 or #2 pick?? I could see T. Davis coming back like XT if he doesn’t have the year he thinks he should have/projection. Miles Murphy has 3 years of eligibility left as of today. Same comment as Bresee could apply here even though I expect him to be gone. You just have to let the season play out and see what these guys decide. A lot of different factors at play that go into decisions. We’ve seen it time and time again where these guys don’t like to leave Clemson.

The scholarship spreadsheet is wrong. It hasn’t been updated since February. For example, it shows 14 for the ‘22 class, but I believe the number is 19 or 20 ( I assume the missing 6 are on scholarship).
