My son wakes up this AM and throws on the SCU game for the umteenth time- cuz I’m raisin him right.

I caught this in the corner of the screen.

That’s belief right there!

I’m happy for his left arm that we’re in the CFP this year!

Sometimes my meter is broken, but you know if we win the championship this year it will be the 2018 CFP championship game, right (for the 2017 season)?

You have a comprehension problem. The season of the year we won the Natty is 2016. Just like 1981. But in both cases the Champ game was played the following January. So the CFP date on their official logo is different than the year we are credited with a Natty.

Which was for the 2016 national championship.
This year the college football playoff will be using 2018 as their logo. But, it will be for the 2017 year of college football championship.
