Offensive Line in a spring game. All you have is a collection of offensive lineman. Then you throw in the pinky sacks and the average Joe gains no legitimate interpretation of what is occurring.

It’s spring game so if you’re wondering you’re thinking too much. Could be a 3rd stringer on Bresee, could be Marcus Tate on Murphy 4 weeks after arriving on campus. The fact every year people think the spring game means something is hilarious.

The lines were intertwined so no first or second stringers were grouped together.

The score is controlled and means nothing. When you have Will S. on the final drive trying to win the game it really means little in that DJ couldn't complete the drive (Ngata not making the downfield catch didn't help). Usual stuff but if you watch the individual matchups on the line you can see plenty. In almost every case you know how good one of the players is while the other may be an unknown. Didn't take but a few minutes to see the first 2 centers where frequently manhandled by first and second team D lineman. Tougher to tell on Linthicum since he was not matched up against a 2 deep guy for many of his snaps. So center looks to be a problem again. McFadden may certainly be our best OL but he will be one of the smallest left tackles on any power 5 team at 6"2". OL not be the strength of the team - pretty obvious.
