Is Monte gonna field a decent baseball team this season?

I always look forward to Clemson Baseball and since the bball "aint it" do any insiders have any Information on what to expect on the diamond this season for our Tigers?

neither Collegiate Baseball nor D1 Baseball has Clemson in it's preseason top 50 rankings.
I can't remember that last time that happened, if ever.

Yes. You should go online and listen to his interview from Monday if you can find it. It sounds like he has identified his weekend pitching rotation and we have a lot of good new comers as well for pitching. I think we will have a mixture of power and base hitting like last year. I would say 40+ wins are very doable.

Have not heard of any fall injuries which is a good sign. Monte announced Caden Grice will forego pitching this year and will concentrate on first and hitting because of the hand injury..
If our pitching staff progressed in the fall, we should be deep. They had good summer ball. Keeping fingers crossed our hitting will be much improved from last year. Will Taylor is ahead of rehab at the moment... Possibly see his bat by mid season, late March if not sooner. Hopefully in center by April.

Pay very close attention to the 1st 7 or 8 games and you’ll find out if this team is any different than the previous 3 years.
After the 1st couple series last year, it was evident the base running was still atrocious and hitting with runners in scoring position was still a problem. And sure enough , the issues persisted all year.
There’s a reason baseball people across the country do not think Clemson is a Top 50 program

think we will be very good offensively, especially when will taylor gets back. we have several transfers and a portal guy. key this year will be pitching. if we pitch average to good we should be fun to watch. we got pitching depth they just got to get er done.
