Where was this with 5 minutes in regulation. Argh... Still can't get over letting them score then. 3 frapping minutes. I thought we had it with one more save... Guess UCLA isn't 3 for nothing. Proud of our ladies for gutting it out. We can win the pk.

I’d say Coach determined we couldn’t play UCLA straight up. So he had the team take an extremely defensive posture and hoped to counter with speed. Looked like genius for 87 mins.
The soccer circles I’ve spent time in refer to this as “parking the bus” as in park a bus in front of the goal. Not pretty to watch but it’s hard to argue with the result when you’re at PK’s with #3 team in the country.
