I ask this because Elliot Page. She used to identify as female and homosexual. Now she identifies as male and heterosexual. So apparently her answers are: yes and yes.
Just trying to make sure I have the logic straight. Er, I mean, correct.

I don't think I could possibly change who I'm attracted to, so I don't think people can just up and decide to change their sexual orientation. So that's a hard no for me. Could I become a female? I could have a sex change operation, take hormones, and live as a female, but I would still technically be a male. If I did have a full sex change and started living as a woman, I assume I would still be attracted to women, and therefore would consider myself a lesbian, but my orientation would not have changed. Not really sure how that would work though, and I don't really think it matters.

That it is homophobic to say that someone can change their sexual orientation. It is what it is, you have no control over it. But now trannies have changed the game and everything from your sex to your orientation is fluid. So which is it?

Read an interesting article this morning and the impact of all this gender and sexual orientation is having on internet dating sites. In the past it was men, women, gay, bisexual and all the combinations from there. Now the dating sites are reporting up to 31 genders are being listed. It's easier to keep the scorebook in your head at a baseball game than it is to keep up with this.
