The most misunderstood man in college football? Just watching his interviews for years I can’t name a more genuine person in CFB, yet small parts of his interviews have been twisted and painted him in a negative ligh IMO.
Obviously winning creates hatred, but it seems different than the Saban hate.

It's sort of like Liberal propaganda. CFB doesn't like Dabo because Clemson isn't Alabama.
Think of it this way, if Saban coached Clemson and Dabo coached Bama you would be saying the same thing about "Jolly old Nick".
And it's really not hate, it's more like Dabo is "the fly in the ointment". He just doesn't fit their agenda.

I see what you’re saying but I’ve seen Dabo bashed in an irrational manner throughout the last few years even more than usual with his stance on certain political happenings, and even the Kelly Bryant situation sparked a lot of negativity.

Most of the hate is coming from the Left. Dabo is a fairly conservative guy. And they don't believe you can be conservative and a great person too. I think Dabo is awesome.

Let Nick Saban say on National Television that , “only God could Orchestrate this” (National Championship run) and he would have the same dislikes.

I think the "hate" vomes from two primary sources.
1. It is manufactured by sports commentators who want to make a splash and be heard. Ignore them.
2. It comes from those who are jealous of his and Clemson's success. Ignore them.

He does not say much that can be controversial. However, he appears to have opened up somewhat after he and Dabo became friends. Plus he learned to be a better, more compassionate coach to his players, which should be credited to what he learned from Dabo. Dabo gained a lot of enemies, by saying that OSU should have been 11th last year, instead of 4th. I think, hope that Dabo learned from that to keep it closer to his chest, even though he considered it truth. GO TIGERS, THANK YOU DABO!

No one became Dabo's enemy because of the comment on OSU. It was a foolish thing to say, even if he believed it. He had to know it would get thrown back in his face if OSU won.

It comes with the territory. Whatever you have heard in the way of negative comments bashing Dabo and his character, I have heard the same thing about Bobby Bowden.
The world hates genuine Christians who live out their faith. They look for ways to tear them down.

It’s really simple. Christ told us before He left the world will hate us who are in Him. Don’t worship Dabo and think he makes mistakes just like the rest of us. But his fruit indicates his faith. Another man facing tough times for following Christ? Google Pastor David Platt.
