Absolutely - in my opinion - and we will win. Would people back off (just a little) if we do win?

:)

Yes...

at least until the next loss.

Doubt he wins this year.

We are from the mighty ACC. It should be an expectation for our basketball coach to beat a mid-ling weak-SEC b-ball team.

It should also be the expectation that our coach beat a team whose coach is leading his team for his first ever ACC game on the road.

I think it would be a fair expectation to beat the coots.

I also think that it would be fair to say that if we lose, we shouldn't over-react and say that the season is ruined and Brownell should be fired immediately.

Would you say that's fair?

I think its fair, and I dont think he will be fired this yr

Dec 9, 2019, 1:40 PM

If he was going to be fired it would have been after last year. When the AD chose to retain him (agree or not), he obviously did this knowing full what we had coming back for this season and that it would probably be a long painful year. Thus any reassessment of BB will have to happen after next year. I do not think it would be fair to BB to fire him for not meeting an unrealistic expectation when you knew in advance when you chose to retain him the roster for this season

I have no expectations for this year, other than not making the tournament. I don't know what to expect other than that.

Beating coots in every sport every year's fair expectation

Period.

uof6c lost to Northern Iowa and Boston University...

so yes, this is a game that I expect Clemson to win, just like every year.
