I feel your pain. we were picked to play in the Big XII CG. We have 23 seniors and all but one starter from last years team. don't know why this team under performed, but we played hard and came awfully close to beating Baylor,Iowa and Oklahoma.

Look forward to playing a team from Iowa. Hear you have a great coach and you guys do things the right way. We are in a bit of turmoil with losing coaches to promotions to other teams. We all support out Dabo and know he always has a good plan. We have an excellent defense but our offense has been the weakest in several years. We run the football better than we throw which usually is the reverse. Good luck but hope our tigers get their 10 th win??

By the way we have 18 scholarship players that have been injured more than ever before. We ate played a lot of secondary players such as starting two freshmen receivers.

We look forward to playing you for the first time. Our defenses are similar and we have some players on both sides of the ball. our offensive line has had injuries all season long. we are like you, our team is pretty banged up and will need every one of our players healthy to compete with you.

It is fun for me as I get to talk some trash (no super confidently mind you) to some good friends that are ISU alumni.
This is going to be a defensive game. Vegas did not do ISU any favors though. Dabo gets to play the no respect card and little ‘ol Clemson for a couple of weeks. The boys may be a little salty and fired up.

You should already know about our team if you followed College Football this past decade. I think it would be more beneficial to gives us the lowdown on the Cyclones who have not received much press in the ESPN/SEC dominated press. I moved from Kansas City 3 years ago, so I got a steady diet of Big Eight/Big 12 Football and Basketball. The ISU fans travel well and are a friendly sort. Good Midwest folk. You should love the Tiger tailgates. Though we are going thru a momentary period of uncertainty, you can count on a rowdy fun fanbase.

We are a fairly balanced offense. we have some good player on both sides of the ball. Purdy, our QB likes to throw to our TE's Kolar and Allen. Breece Hall is our RB who will more than likely be drafted in the first round. Our defense is a 3-3-5 set, we have a good defense when healthy. our LB's are above average with Rose being an early draft pick. Mcdonald and Uwazurike are solid linemen. secondary is seasoned and safeties like to hit.

I couldn’t tell you what kind of defensive schemes we will field! We have several good defensive starters in Makuba, Myles Murphy, Trenton Simson, James Skalski and Andrew Booth. If they don’t decide to transfer to Oklahoma before the bowl game.

Not sure what you'll see on offense. our OC will either have a brilliant plan or we will be fed to the wolves. our defense has been Bi Polar this season. Honestly, if our A team shows up, this should be a fun game to watch.

Let’s see, Clemson is located in the state of South Carolina
It sits on the edge of Lake Hartwell and is a beautiful Place
We are one of the top public universities in the nation, have very strong engineering, science, agriculture and business schools.
Our football team has three national championships, 20+ conference titles, We have been to more playoffs than any team not named Alabama
Do not confuse us with our red beaked step child, the University of South Carolina, they are a hated rival
We welcome the opportunity to play a Midwestern team, it gets tiring playing the same old Southern and Eastern teams all the time

Welcome! I have plenty of family who are ISU grads and fans and are looking forwardto the matchup. The Clemson Family is a little chippy right now...
WR Room is a walking triage, young stable of quality RBs, QB and OL have had plenty room for improvement. We do remember there is the TE position from time to time.
We lost our DC and have had some injuries at DT and Safety. Backups have stepped up while Mr. James Skalski has kept them all together.

Like I have never seen in one season. Just couldn’t keep same guys on field on offense. A lot will depend on who plays, who opts out and who is healthy/ available.
I fear we can’t keep up in the scoring department, especially since Venables won’t be around on defense.

right now and 2) we're not sure what to expect.
Crazy injuries all over the field, transfers mid-season, and who knows if any of our players will sit out the game (kind of new for us as of course we've been in the playoffs for several years in a row). There's no denying that our QB hasn't performed the way we'd hoped although he has gotten better through the year. Our WRs have been decimated by injury and otherwise underperformed. We're not used to seeing dropped passes and we saw a whole lot this year.
Our defense has been an inspiration but of course the DC is gone. Our OC is interviewing. Our OLine coach is reportedly retiring (although I guess that's after the game). Heck, our AD is rumored to be a candidate to go to Miami. Crazy, crazy times for a program that has been the model of stability for many years.
Soooo...if the defense plays well, you'll need your A game on offense to move the ball. And you'll need to be strong against the run, as I suspect we'll be relying on our young and talented RBs to keep the chains moving. Oh, and we have a solid kicker.
