bats that are extremely close to SARS-CoV-2. So close they can infect humans.

Of course I dug deeper. They found three coronaviruses that were closer to SARS-CoV-2 than anything seen previously. ONE of those was already capable to infecting humans, in a lab anyway. It was found to bind to human receptors, the same receptors covid clings to.
