Inside the Coot Mind

On hearing the news of another stud , 4 st?r linebacker committing to Clemson ... assistant fry cook and basket handler Herbert Forquard became despondent . Fries sogged . Alarms rang in a pelting background hodge podge of voices mumbling and the drone of the ventilator fans ...this was not a good time to hear that news . Clemson owns the series , he reflected winsomely ...and it looks like they are back on top for a while . Alarms further muffled by his tattering inner emotional outburst . Snapped back into the McDonald's day , he steadied himself against the bun warmer ...beads of oily sweat formed on his pimply forehead . He wiped his brow . Then bit his greasy fingernail . Those taste like the night shift didn't filter the fryers . He was an intuitive assistant fry cook and basket handler . 11 years of this tile and stucco penitentiary will give you that . Seems like just hours had passed since he walked off that coliseum floor with his Scar diploma , ready to tame the midlands . He turned and shut off the alarm. Fries are done . He reckoned too , forlornly ...so were his beloved Gamekocks .

I done had a vision . In it were tortured Coot souls around a boiling kettle of oil . In the backgroung , grinning menacingly was a 6 foot clown , just in an unlit doorway .

Inside the Coot mind? That would be a very small place. Golf ball sized, maybe.
