Incredibly well done story on sculptor Grainger McKoy

I was struck by the incredible beauty and detail of his bronze wing statue in the atrium of Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston when I lived there. The article quotes several excerpts from this YouTube video of Mr. McKoy, CU class of 1969. Beautifully done all around.

Those of you who have to look for jewelry for your wife or GF, take a look at Grainger McCoy's jewelry line. I have bought my wife the cross bird feather pin, Carolina wren pin, pearl feather pin, and dove necklace along with feather earrings. They make great gifts and he has them in gold and silver. He was the speaker at a Men's Prayer Breakfast I attended a few months ago. Very down to earth, and level headed. Talent and character. A fine man.

Grainger was at school the same time I was. I knew him trough some of his fraternity brothers. I didn't even know he carved decoys when I was there, but later heard stories that he would carve a duck and sell it for $10 for beer money. If true, I sure wish I had bought a few!
